It is produced in natural linden log hives kept in the dark. Bees produce the comb of this honey that artificial beeswax is not used, with their own wax secretions. Since the environment should be dark, the cover of the comb is almost never opened during the production of the wild honeycomb, and the honey is kept there for about six months.
